Functieomschrijving

  • Development and implementation of embedded self-checking tests on ARM7, Tensilica BBE32, HIFI5 cores for Quantum SoC validation (in C).
  • Specification, documentation of these tests & test results in the different environments (DOORSNG, collabnet, sw development environment).
  • Import & adaption of tests developed for verification and subsystem V&V.
  • Guide & support validation engineers specifying, developing embedded test, involved in reviews.
  • Supporting the validation environment, extend the tooling around, improve the sw validation flow in close alignment with the val architect/team.
  • Flow, test report generation, scripting, templates, data base for test result/report).
  • Execution of tests and analysis of the test results.

Functie-eisen

  • Experience on ARM processors (M series) and peripheral validation.
  • Must have experience with Tensilica cores & architecture (TIE instructions, TCM) –
  • Nice to have Specification, design, development, and implementation of testcases in C/C++.
  • Must have experience with version control tools like Git or SVN.
  • Must Have experience on Processor performance validation.
  • Nice to have good understanding of multicore SoC architectures.
  • Must have good understanding of SoC interfaces.
  • Must have experience on processor interrupt handling.
  • Must have good understanding of ARM core sight debug features.
  • Must Have experience on processor debugger (e.g. Lauterbach/Trace32).
  • Must have scripting Language – Python, Matlab –
  • Nice to have experience with automation framework (Labview/Teststand)
  • Nice to have experience with data base architectures (for test results)
