As a Senior Root Cause Analyst, you facilitate and lead problem solving teams. Main role is to ensure that the teams will take actions and make decisions focused on solving the problem statement with an open mind and fact based. You will also engage with and report to the internal and external stakeholders about the chosen approach and progress of the RCA team. You will facilitate the teams by offering the appropriate modern problem-solving tools like 5 times why, Fish bone diagrams, FMEA, flow charts, etc. Facilitate and train if necessary teams in the correct use of these tools. Your leadership to the teams will enhance the focus and efficiency of the road to the solution of the problem at hand.

Your tasks:

• Lead and facilitate problem solving teams
• Choose and apply the appropriate problem-solving tools
• Train the team in the application of these problem-solving tools
• Keep the team on track and focused on the problem at hand
• Enforce the team members to go just that step further to find the real issue behind the problem at hand
• Report the team progress to the stake holders concerned

Functie-eisen

• Preferably you have a technical academic background
• More than 10 year’s relevant working experience in high tech industry
• Black Belt 6 sigma certified, experienced in applying quality tools like: FMEA, 8D, 5 times why etc.
• Having a fact-based analytical attitude, with a drive to find the real solution to the problem
• Have a practical attitude, being able to apply the correct problem-solving tool in the circumstances at hand.
• Result and customer orientated, having good social skills, have passion/curiosity to find solutions for the problems at hand.
• Be able engage with and report to internal and external stake holders about the approach and progress of the root cause investigations.
• Have good communication skills in Dutch and English
• Can work in a multi-disciplinary work environment
• Demonstration of leadership skills
