Software Test Architect

Our client has a vacancy for a Software Test Architect, having responsibilities in the following fields:

• Defining and carrying out plans and strategies to drive software faults to zero from a test-based approach.
• Driving the competence of (automated) testing within the software department and be a sparring partner for software architects and teams.
• Setting up and continuously improve the test automation framework / architecture and CI/CD pipeline in close cooperation with software architects and teams.
• Devise and develop test automation scripts and implement them as part of our framework / pipeline.
• Align with multidisciplinary teams on the testing approach and testing process.
• Align with the customer software test community and be a representative of our client in that community.
• Assist teams and contribute to performing software quality assessments and report the results in terms of test coverage and remaining risks.
• Assist in test execution when required in the team.
  
  

Functie-eisen

You have the ambition to be part of a multidisciplinary team and apply your knowledge and experience to bring testing of high-end systems to a next level. You want quality to be fact based.
Other important drivers:

• BSc or MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering
• Academic working and thinking level
• At least five years of experience in software verification and validation roles in a technical environment.
• Certification at ISTQB Full Advanced Level or equivalent
• Experience with setting up and improving test frameworks
• Experience in defining and implementing test processes
• Experience with test automation development and with state-of-the-art tools
• Experience with requirements management, Agile / SCRUM methodologies, and Test-Driven Development
• You are a pro-active, analytical, creative person with a “can do” mentality
• Good communication skills verbal and written in English and Dutch
